Release 2026.0.3.3 (March 3, 2026)
| • | External References can now also point to files in supported non-MKD-formats such as DWG, DXF, PDF, and SVG. The data converted upon first use is stored in a file cache so that no reconversion is required the next time the main file is opened. |
| • | New List of References command to easily manage all external references of the current drawing. |
| • | All entities can now dynamically influence their own and their contents' color rendering (transparency, brightness, saturation, tinting). Use the "Dyeing" button in the "Edit Properties" Dialog for this purpose. |
| • | All layers can now dynamically influence their contents' color rendering (transparency, brightness, saturation, tinting). Use the "Dyeing" command in the context menu of the "Layers" Dialog for this purpose. |
| • | New Count Blocks command for a fast overview of all used blocks' frequency. |
| • | New Find Block command to rapidly search for instances of a certain block. |
| • | In the "Pens" Dialog and the "Layers" Dialog, you can now rename, edit and remove folders directly by right-clicking them. A separate "Manage Folders" dialog is no longer required. |
| • | The command "Update usage counts" in "Pens" Dialog and "Layers" Dialog now only counts top-level objects. Objects contained within others are no longer counted. |
| • | In Options > Files, the desired file version for saving drawings and libraries can now be preset in detail. In the "File Selection" Dialog, this setting can then be adjusted for the specific case under "Options". The effective file version used is displayed as a notification after each file operation. |
| • | While in layout mode, external references can now also be used in pages. |
| • | Using the Context Menu, you can now embed and update individual bitmap references. Embedded bitmaps can be saved to a PNG file. |
| • | When displaying details for drawing, libraries, collections, notebooks, and fonts, the file version is now also shown. |
| • | When creating a clipping surface "Inside", the object set can now automatically be optimized to save storage space and calculation time. |
| • | The new command line parameter -c allows automated conversion of DWG, DXF, PDF, and SVG files into MKD files with full control over the parameters (e.g. via batch files). |
| • | New implicit attributes ~*24~ ("description"), ~*25~ ("instance comment"), and ~*26~ ("group comment") in texts and parts lists. |
| • | CAD6PDF is no longer supported, please use DirectPDF instead. |
| • | Archive Drawing had problems with bitmaps and created invalid drawing files in some cases. |
| • | When presetting the display mode or decimal places for lengths or angles in the "Dimension Parameters" dialog, the other value was inadvertently reset. |
| • | The printing mode "All objects (ignore pages)" did not work as expected in layout mode. |
| • | Exporting and copying to the clipboard as WMF data did not work correctly in layout mode with mappings being used. All data is now output in absolute [mm] coordinates for correct sizing. |
| • | When exporting and copying to the clipboard as EMF data, bitmaps were sometimes misplaced or missing completely. |
| • | Embedded bitmaps in referenced drawings could not be displayed. |
| • | When printing a section using DirectPDF to multiple pages, outputting cutting edges did not work. |
