Template > Save as Default (Manage Menu)

This command saves the current drawing elements as default template. Those are for example: page format, layers, coordinate systems, pens, line types and drawing settings.

The elements are saved in the file mkcad6.mkd. They are used as the standard settings whenever a new drawing is started, or they can be merged into an existing drawing using the commands Import > Malz++Kassner CAD6 (*.mkd) and Template > Import from Standard.
