Round Corner > One Corner (Trim Menu)

www.CAD6.com

This command can be used to round a corner using a smooth arc. Only corners consisting of lines and/or circle arcs can be rounded.

1.Enter radius

After choosing the command, a dialog appears, in which the rounding radius to be used can be entered.

2.Identify curve / surface

The position at which the object was identified (the "ID point") affects how the command is carried out. It determines which corner of the object is to be rounded (see graphic ).

Note a basic rule for trimming: The object changes, wherever it is clicked on.

If the two lines of the "corner" are parallel, then an error message appears.

If a corner made up of two individual objects is to be rounded, this can be done with the command Round Corner > Object - Object. All the corners in a curve or surface can be chamfered at one using the command Round Corner > Complete.
