Map Model to Page > Object Outline in Model Space (Manage Menu) |
www.CAD6.com |
Using this command you can create a mapping defined by an object's outline within the model space.
A mapping maps objects from the model space of the drawing (not assigned to any page) into another part of the drawing. It only works if it's assignment to a page, and displays only objects from model space. Using these mappings, multiple sections of a model can be placed only different pages and supplemented with further objects.
Using Drawing Settings > Screen you can determine if and how the model space and/or the pages shall be displayed. Use Drawing Settings > Output to control the output. Mappings cannot be nested.
Any fillable object can be identified as mapping outline.
The reference point of the object outline can be entered by clicking the mouse anywhere in the drawing.
After entering the section, the "Mapping Parameters" dialog appears, in which the initial mapping parameters can be entered.
Depending on the mapping parameters, further points have to be entered:
The point at which the mapping is placed is chosen by clicking the mouse at any chosen point within the drawing. Alternatively, this is the first corner point of an optional section that defined the scaling of the mapping.
The second corner point of an optional section that defined the scaling of the mapping.
The rotation angle can be entered by clicking the mouse anywhere in the drawing. Its position relative to the center of rotation determines the angle.
