Scale 3D Parts > Reference Distance (3D Menu)

This command can be used to scale multiple 3D parts so that a chosen reference distance has a specified length.

The 3D parts to be scaled must be chosen. Click on objects to choose them.

Any component corner can be identified as the start point of the reference distance by clicking near to it.

Any component corner can be identified as the end point of the reference distance by clicking near to it.

After identifying the component corners, a dialog appears in which the desired length of the reference distance can be entered.

If the "Duplicate" checkbox is enabled in the dialog, the chosen 3D parts will be copied instead of moved.
