Return Value

Returns true if this is not nullptr and points to an extended entity containing a 3D mapping (not a 3D assembly).

Comment

3D mappings are created by the 3D part, but shall be regarded as a 2D object (it maps 3D parts into 2D space). They cannot be modified using 3D operations and can only enumerate 2D data. They do, however, contain 3D information in their display list that can be used for snapping and identification in 3D by the 3D part.
