Scale Objects > Fit In Non-Proportional (Modify Menu) |
www.CAD6.com |
This command can be used to scale all kinds of objects (i.e. change their sizes) in the drawing. The objects are scaled and moved so that they fit in a given rectangular area. The scaling is not proportional, that is the horizontal and vertical scaling factors can be different.
The objects to be scaled have to be chosen. Click on objects to choose them.
The first corner point of the area can be specified by clicking the mouse button anywhere in the drawing.
The second corner point of the area can be specified by clicking the mouse button anywhere in the drawing.
Some objects cannot in principle be scaled non-proportionally. Above all, these are circles and circle parts, and also surfaces which contain circle arcs. If you scale such an object non-proportionally, those elements will be converted to ellipses, ellipse parts, or Bézier curves.
