Edit > Point Attributes (Modify Menu) |
www.CAD6.com |
This command can be used to comprehensively edit point attributes for all kinds of points.
A point attribute is locally connected to an individual point inside an object such as a curve or surface. Its value is only valid for that point.
Point attributes are usually maintained within the application if its containing object remains "whole". When resolving, transforming, trimming, or cutting objects, however, point attributes will usually get lost without any warning. Read more about Attributes.
Choose the points whose attributes shall be edited. Click on points to choose them. Definition points in Construction Aid endless lines and beams can only be chosen if both check boxes "Point markings" and "Also for Construction Aid" in the "Additional Information" area of the "Screen Settings" dialog are active. Otherwise, they will be ignored.
Depending on whether you chose one or multiple points, either the "Edit Attributes" dialog or the "Manage Attributes" dialog appears.
You can use Advanced Text Capabilities (consisting of Formatting, Attributes, Variables, Statements, Mathematical Terms) in all texts, dimensions, variables, and attributes!
