Move / Copy Objects > Multiple Copy, Offset (Modify Menu)

www.CAD6.com

This command can be used to make multiple copies of a chosen set of objects. The copies are each moved by a specified offset.

1.Choose objects

The objects to be copied must be chosen. Click on objects to choose them.

2.Enter reference point

The copy's reference point, i.e. the start point of the offset, can be entered using the mouse, by clicking anywhere in the drawing.

3.Enter target point

The target point for the copy, i.e. the end point of the offset, can be entered using the mouse, by clicking anywhere in the drawing.

After choosing the objects and entering the reference and target points a dialog appears, in which the number of steps to be used can be entered. Step numbers between 1 and 250 are allowed.

The original objects are retained. If 10 steps were entered, 10 copies of the objects are made and each time moved by the given offset.
