Block > Align to Edge (Library Menu)

www.CAD6.com

This command can be used to align multiple block instances to an edge.

1.Choose instances

The block instances that shall be aligned are chosen. Click on objects to choose them.

2.Identify reference line

Any existing straight line can be used as the reference line for alignment. This can also be a side of a rectangle or a leg of a circle segment.

3.Enter angle of rotation

After choosing the reference line, a dialog appears in which an additional angle of rotation can be entered. If the respective check box is enabled, the block rotation will be adapted according to DIN/ISO, i.e. horizontal text in the block will be readable from bottom or right. The duplicate function can be turned on locally for this command by enabling the "Duplicate" check box.

Once activated, the duplicate function in this dialog remains active until explicitly deactivated again to simplify repeating operations.
