Construction Aid Polygon > Centered Rectangle (Construct Menu)

www.CAD6.com

This command draws a Construction Aid rectangle that is centered to a given point. A rectangle is a quadrangle where each side is at right angles to the adjacent side, and is therefore a special type of parallelogram. This command always draws a rectangle whose sides are horizontal and vertical. Horizontal and vertical refers to the position relative to the view. If the drawing is rotated, the sides are created rotated as well.

1.Enter center point

The center point of the Construction Aid rectangle can be entered with the mouse by clicking at any point in the drawing.

2.Enter point on frame

One point on the Construction Aid rectangle can be entered with the mouse by clicking anywhere in the drawing.

The three other corners are positioned automatically so that the adjacent sides form right angles.
