Selection Filter from Object (Extra Menu)

This command can be acquire properties from a selected object as selection filter criteria.

Any object can be identified.

After identifying an object, a dialog with all the object's relevant properties appears. Choose the properties to use as selection filter criteria by setting the corresponding check box(es). A selection filter can consist of no more than 5 criteria, so you cannot choose more than 5 critieria to use here.

Please notice that numerical values such as line widths, text heights, and object lengths are newer exact. A line whose length is displayed as 10.0 mm may as well be 9.99999999 mm or 10.00000001 mm long. So make sure to state proper intervals such as [ 9.99 to 10.01 ] when searching for these kinds of values.
