This command is used to insert a comment defined by a rectangle. A rectangle is a quadrangle where each side is at right angles to the adjacent side, and is therefore a special type of parallelogram. This command always draws a rectangle whose sides are horizontal and vertical. Horizontal and vertical refers to the position relative to the view. If the drawing is rotated, the sides are created rotated as well.
The first corner point of the rectangle can be entered by clicking the mouse at any point within the drawing.
The first corner point of the rectangle can be entered by clicking the mouse at any point within the drawing.
The two other corners are positioned automatically so that the adjacent sides form right angles.
After entering the rectangle, the "Edit Comment" dialog appears into which a comment of up to 30000 characters can be typed.
The appearance of all the comments can be set using the command Comment > Options. Comments can only be viewed on screen. They cannot be printed out or exported in any way.
