Hatching > Align Locally (Draw Menu)

www.CAD6.com

This command is used to set the local fixed point (base point) and rotation for hatchings.

1.Choose hatchings

The hatchings to be aligned must be chosen. Click on objects to choose them.

2.Enter reference point

The new fixed point and center of rotation can be entered by clicking the mouse anywhere in the drawing.

3.Enter angle

The rotation angle can be entered by clicking the mouse anywhere in the drawing. Its position relative to the center of rotation determines the local rotation angle.

The local fixed point and the local rotation will be applied to all chosen hatching objects.

The local fixed point overwrites the global fixed point and determines where the hatching pattern starts. The local rotation can be used to align a hatching with an edge. Once a local rotation is set, the hatching will be rotated along if the respective object is rotated.
