Connection of 2D and 3D (3D Introduction)

www.CAD6.com

Since the main focus of the 3D part is on creating 3D drawings based on existing 2D designs and drawings, both worlds (2D drawing and 3D space) are logically separated, but visually connected. Imagine the 2D drawing area as a canvas onto which the respective 3D parts will be projected.

Unlike many systems which always project the 2D world into a plane of the 3D world while working with 3D data, CAD6 allows you to change the projection of the 3D parts at any time without influencing the 2D objects.

Mixed display of 2D and 3D data

Due to this separation of the two worlds, you can always edit your 2D drawing data in the usual manner without having to worry about the 3D part, and vice versa.
