3D Edge Identification (Methods)

www.CAD6.com

An edge in 3D space is identified by simply clicking near to it. The application will automatically determine the visible edge that is nearest to the click. If no valid edge is available within the snapping radius, a note will be displayed.

Edges that are logically "hidden" by surfaces of 3D parts cannot be identified, even if they are visible due to the component being drawn in transparent edge-only mode or due to drawing order.

If you are working with multiple 3D spaces, only components within the currently active 3D space will be used for edge identification.
