Example 5: Holes with Markings (CAM Introduction)

Sample Drawing: "CAM\Holes with Markings"
Postprocessor: "Universal DIN-ISO"

Export Objects

The objects to be exported are shown in green in the drawing. The associated NC blocks (lines) also appear in this color.

The first marking is at position (20|20). The further markings then follow in the object order along the straight line from bottom left to top right. That is, the last marking is at position (120|70). Incidentally, these markings were created with the Construction Aid > Division > Line command.

Drillings with Points (Markings)

Drilling holes using markings is easier than drilling using drill cycles (CAM block instances), but not nearly as flexible. Each marking is always translated into a hole in the same way: the marking determines the position of the hole, for example (70|45) for the middle hole in set (row) 120. The piercing and withdrawal, for example in the sets (rows) 130 and 140, is specified for all markings by the postprocessor's control text for points (markings).

You can place individual markings using the Construction Aid > Marking command. However, you can also create several markers at once. To do this, use the commands in the Construction Aid > Division menu.
